Whitney had given up. She'd thought it best they say their goodbyes now and if it meant being with Kal now than never then...
"I think we should just do it." Whitney smiled as if this couldn't wait. She was leaving to go back home tomorrow.
"Do what?" Kal just looked confused. Like maybe there a puzzle they need to fix, perhaps.
"Sex. What else?" She slightly grimaced.
"With that kind of look, it really makes me want to jump your bones," Kal kind of laughed. "What are you talking about?"
"I have to go home," she nodded as if it was a done deal.
"No. No, you can't." Kal looked as he might fall apart. "We're getting married."
"Not soon enough," Whitney shook her head. "My sister has made arrangements and, and she wants me home. Not here."
"She can do that?"
"I guess." Whitney frowned.
"Do you really want to go back to England?"
"No. Not now."
"Then, we'll go to the justice of the peace, get this sorted out, first thing in the morning." He was on it. "You just bring your bags with me. We'll be fine."
"Are you sure?" Whitney winced thinking she was asking to much.
"Yes, are you?" Kal looked at her seriously, touching her cheek then.
"Well then, lets get going." He smiled picking up her bags in her room. Whitney looked around, thinking this would be the last time she'd see this place.
