Fish ended up at the bus station with his duffle bag. He hadn't learned to drive quite yet. At least not well enough to take his driver's test. He was beginning to think he might be stupid. Of course, he'd figure out how to get here to Lawerence. So maybe he wasn't quite that dumb.

But it was a little frustrating waundering around. Thinking he should be able to spot Bella already. At least, he hoped she was able to get here. It would be freaky if he was suppose to meet her mother.

God, he hated the idea of that. He just knew she'd hate him. They'd almost met before. But not really. He'd already forgotten what she looked like. He was forgetful that way. Honestly, he didn't want to remember.

He was nervous now. So nervous, he was ready to throw up. He really felt he was dieing. Fish was far from home and all his watering holes. He couldn't remember the last time he'd traveled so far and now he felt ill and even faint.

Was this really the right thing to do? And then he saw her siloutte. And it choked him with tears. Finally Bella turned and his heart started pounding. He felt so badly for not being here sooner. It was the worst feeling, yet he was happy he'd gone this far.

As he walked across the empty bus station, he hoped he didn't trip over his own two feet. She was smiling and he smiled. He hurried then, dropped his duffle bag and did his best to pick her up with a long embrace.
